“e” inc. Summer Programming

768 1024 Atlantic Wharf

“e” inc. provides children, teens, and adults a scientific understanding of Earth’s natural biomes, resources, and systems and the skills to protect the planet and live sustainably. Using hands onĀ  science as a springboard, “e” inc. engages students across urban neighborhoods in real time action projects that are stimulating, important, and directly linked to their “e” inc. science subject. Students study current environment challenges and come to appreciate how individuals can both affect local and global challenges and also support good outcomes. Children and youth become inspired to take responsibility for sustaining the planet; first, by changing their own actions and then, by creating projects that involves others to make a difference. Atlantic Wharf hosts “e” inc Summer programs throughout the Summer allowing youth to discover the Fort Point Channel. This program involves hands-on field trips for groups from day camps and community centers. Catching crabs in the Fort Point Channel, understanding the concept of a watershed, and learning about rowing on the water. The youth participate in a fun, discovery filled day!
