    Music Explorers

    Discover the sounds of the musical family at our interactive instrument petting zoo.

    Try a variety of instruments and join a guided sing-and play-along.

    Join us in the Fort Point Room at Atlantic Wharf for a morning of early childhood music and movement! Geared for ages 0-8, Music Therapists from the Community Music Center of Boston will be leading participants in hands-on musical activities, showcasing an instrument petting zoo, and crafting handheld musical instruments together with your little ones. CMCB staff will also be present if you have questions or want to learn more about their early childhood programming.

    Agenda

    Arrival & Open Play: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM

    Families arrive. Children are invited to explore the instrument petting zoo or participate in DIY instrument-making stations.

    Music & Movement Session: 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

    Interactive music and movement session led by a music therapist, featuring songs, rhythm activities, and guided play.

    Continued Exploration: 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM

    Open play resumes with access to the instrument petting zoo and DIY instrument-making stations.
