Waterfront Plaza

Community Spaces

Atlantic Wharf’s outdoor public plaza, home to year-round events and gatherings.

Waterfront Plaza is Atlantic Wharf’s outdoor gathering space—a green oasis at the water’s edge and a welcome break from the pace of the city. As a connecting point between Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway and the Harborwalk, it’s an idyllic, eventful stop for anyone exploring the waterfront.

AN OPEN-AIR ESCAPE FOR EVERY SEASON

The Plaza is activated across all four seasons with programming designed for all ages. From live music and outdoor fitness to family activities, youth programming, and seasonal celebrations, there’s always something happening at the water’s edge and plenty of room to simply sit, stroll, or take in the view.

Chapter 91 Keeps the Shore Yours

Massachusetts Chapter 91 exists to make sure Boston’s shoreline stays open, active, and accessible to all. At Atlantic Wharf, that commitment shapes everything we do. All four of our spaces (Waterfront Plaza, Waterfront Square, The Gallery, and the Fort Point Room) are dedicated to public programming that welcomes neighbors, Greater Boston residents, and sightseers, season after season.
