Tour begins at Martin’s Park, 64 Sleeper Street
See how Boston prepares for coastal flooding on the City of Boston’s free Deployables Day Walking Tour. The approximately one-mile route includes stops at Martin’s Park, Atlantic Wharf and Harbor Towers to explore deployable flood barriers and the people and organizations that put them in place.
At Atlantic Wharf, Boston Fire will conduct a technical rescue drill over a deployable flood barrier using specialized vehicles and equipment. The tour begins at Martin’s Park at 11:00 AM; Atlantic Wharf is a stop along the route, not the starting point.
