Atlantic Wharf will participate in the City of Boston’s third annual Deployables Day, a citywide training exercise focused on temporary flood protection. BXP will install Atlantic Wharf’s flood barrier along Pearl Street Extension beginning at approximately 6:00 AM. Around noon, Boston Fire and Boston EMS will conduct a simulated rescue drill to practice responding when a flood barrier is in place.

The barrier will remain up during the exercise, with breakdown expected by 3:30 PM. This is a planned drill; there is no flood emergency.
