This exhibition features MBACC artists exploring parts and wholes through deconstruction, composition, and innovative abstraction.

Planar Shifts is on view at The Gallery at Atlantic Wharf from April 21 to July 5, 2026. This exhibition features Mother Brook Arts & Community Center (MBACC) artists who use parts to compose a whole, deconstruct “wholes” into parts, or blend abstraction and representation in innovative ways. MBACC, founded in 2012, is a multidisciplinary arts and community center in East Dedham and is home to 25 studio artists, a robust ceramics program, Sullivan Rep theater company, Ore Metals Studio, and Full Tilt Print Studio. Participating artists: Hillary Babick, Terry Boutelle, Nicole deLisle, Susan Denniston, Amos and Ronni Eisenberg, Angela Fiori, Remmi Franklin, Marilyn Mase, Jo Soshnick, Elizabeth Slayton, and Bryan Taylor.
